LANGUAGE LEARNING PLAN
PAKISTAN – URDU
Time: 6 Months
BRIEF OVERVIEW
Pakistan, whose capital is Islamabad, possesses a population of 197,000,000 and more than 95% of the residents believe in Islam. Only 2% of the population are identified as Christians.
Urdu, the official language of Pakistan, has 35 letters, 12 vowels, and 42consonants.
China and Pakistan have always been friendly with each other.
LEARNING PLAN WITH SCHEDULE
Month 1 – Enrolling for Urdu language learning at NUML University (www.numl.edu.pk); contacting native students to develop a friendship with native Urdu speakers; learning the Urdu alphabet, including the letters, vowels, and consonants; recite basic words and expressions for daily conversation.
Month 2 – Attending classes at NUML and supplementing with a tutor to help with grammar learning and correcting pronunciation (the fee for an Urdu tutor is about Rs 100-150 per hour).
Month 3 – Practicing daily conversation with natives and saints; propagating in the afternoon and attending home meetings in the evening with much exercising and function in Urdu.
Month 4 – Reciting basic spiritual words (700 spiritual words are available at a pace of 5-10 words per day).
Month 5 – Reading the available ministry books that are in Urdu: New Believers Series, The Economy of God, Life Lessons, etc.
Month 6 – Being able to share messages with local saints in Urdu.
