When we meet muslim, we should pay attention to avoid
some points:
1. At the beginning, do not speak directly that we are Christians.
First just make friend with them, after a period of time when
their heart open to you then you can share your testimony or
experience in a proper time by prayer.
2. When you contact them, don’t speak all the time to them, it
is better to hear their opinions, especially their questions,
after listening, use their questions to share your testimony or
your experience which meets their need according to the
Bible.
3. Do not fall into discussing and argument, but use some key
questions to make them doubting about their idea of their
religion and turn them to seek the True God.
4. Do not say no to their religion at the beginning but say yes,
and then to lead them to enjoy our testimony and living,
make them be attracted by our living.
5. Do not force them to do some life practice at the beginning.
(For example: calling on the name of the Lord, pray reading
the word).But let themselves choose by themselves.
Some important points for beginning the conversations:
1. Two trees: you can share with them in the Bible, there are
two trees: the tree of knowledge of good and evil, the tree of
Life in Eden. Anyone who lives according to the tree of life
will result in the New Jerusalem. But anyone who lives
according to the tree of knowledge will result in the lake of
fire. (Because in Quran they just know there is just one tree
in Eden which is the tree of good and evil.)
2. Living God verse religion: Living God can give you power to
overcome sin, but religion cannot help you, just give you
death and no enjoyment.
3. Using Spirit: God is Spirit, human being has the spirit,
whoever wants to worship God must be in the spirit and use
the spirit. By using the Spirit, we can touch God. We can
enjoy God with our spirit. Without using the spirit, there just
empty ritual
4. One man just can marry with one wife: according to the Bible,
God wants man to just have one wife, because God is one.
Divorce or getting more wife is the big sin in God’s eye, God
will surely Judge.
5. God has a purpose for man : where did man come from ,why
we live here ,what is the purpose of God for us (you can use
the mystery of human life)
6. God is righteous: yes, God is kind, but also He is righteous,
without blood there is no forgiveness. Only through the
blood of Jesus can we be saved from our sins.(Muslim think
about that after they commit sins, they just pray to God or
do some good things, God will forgive them)
7. Using testimony to touch people: our testimony of enjoying
God and God expressed through our living is the best gospel
to draw them to come near to God.
8. Compare the Bible with Quran with the educated Muslim, let
them read or study together with us.(Because most Muslim
they do not know what is written in Quran, they just follow it
blindly)
The best way to propagate among Muslim:
The best way to gain people is by perfecting people
especially Muslim. If we focus on perfecting some key one, let
them do whatever we do. They will do much better than us
because they know the local muslin’s situation more than us.
They can use deeper words to touch people’s heart.
